Branches from around the world were represented as the Official Supporters Club enjoyed a special hospitality experience, hosted by former player Fred Eyre, in the Legends restaurant at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola’s men cruised to a 4-1 victory over the Championship leaders and the efforts of our members ensured there was plenty of reason to celebrate off the pitch, too.
The Official Supporters Club raised £5,000 for CITC prior to the event, with General Secretary Kevin Parker presenting Alex Williams with a cheque on the day, whilst a raffle for shirts signed by Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva and David Silva increased the total donated by a further £2,000.
Meanwhile the General Secretary of the Castleton branch received a birthday cake as his 50th coincided with the occasion.
“What a great day in Legends for the Fulham game,” said Kevin Parker.
“Thank You to Manchester City for the opportunity to bring so many Official Supporters Club branches and members together and to also help us raise funds for City in the Community.”
