CITY: Sergio Aguero’s period of self-isolation has ended but he will miss the game.
City have been without the striker, who initially isolated after coming into contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID-19, for a month before he then contracted the virus himself.
The manager also confirmed Nathan Ake is unavailable for the trip to Turf Moor as he continues to be sidelined by the injury which has kept him out of our last nine matches.
BURNLEY: Chris Wood is picked up a hamstring injury in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Chelsea, while Robbie Brady, Josh Brownhill, Ashley Barnes and Charlie Taylor are also doubtful.
Form guide
City are in fine form heading into this game, having won 12 games in a row as part of an 19-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
The Clarets have also been on a good run of form.
They have recently beaten Liverpool1-0 at Anfield, Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage in the FA Cup and Aston Villa 3-2 at Turf Moor.
However, they were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
