Phil Foden has been nominated for October’s EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award.

Foden, who narrowly lost to team-mate Bernardo Silva in the Club’s Etihad Player of the Month by 1% of the fans’ vote, will hope to go one better this time.

City won three out of four games in October, with Foden superb in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool and 4-1 win at Brighton in particular.

The England attacking midfielder bagged three goals last month, but faces stiff competition with six other candidates also nominated.
