Brave, decisive defender

Rico has progressed right through the academy since signing aged 8.

A versatile and tactically aware player, Rico primarily operates as a right-back but can also be deployed in holding midfield.

Rico made his debut for the Under-18s aged 15 and was named captain of the squad for the 2021/22 season.

He played 17 times as City lifted the title and was rewarded for his efforts with the Under-18s Player of the Year award.

Rico progressed to the EDS for the 2022/23 season and also featured for City on our summer tour to the United States.
